Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping the financial industry. Yet, in the AI era, sustainable competitiveness will be determined not only by technology, but by people and leadership.
Across the world's leading financial markets, human capital and leadership diversity are increasingly recognised as essential drivers of sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness. Through the Women in Finance Charter, the United Kingdom has demonstrated how stronger leadership diversity and a more inclusive organisational culture can enhance the competitiveness of the financial sector.

Last year, the Korean Network of Women in Finance took an important first step by launching the Korean Women in Finance Charter. Our challenge now is to move beyond declaration and translate our commitment into meaningful action.

We are honoured to welcome Nadia Mohamad, Standard Chartered, Functions, Global HR Head, as our keynote speaker. With nearly 30 years of experience in human resources and financial services, Nadia has led human capital strategies and leadership development across leading international financial institutions. Having held senior HR leadership positions at Lloyds Bank and Citi before joining Standard Chartered in 2015, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the Bank's global people strategy. Since July 2025, as Global HR Head, Functions, she has led leadership development, organisational transformation, and diversity and inclusion initiatives across the Bank's global Functions, working closely with senior business leaders to build a high-performing, future-ready organisation.

In her keynote address, "What Have We Learned from the UK Women in Finance Charter? - Standard Chartered's Experience," Nadia will share practical insights from the implementation of the UK Women in Finance Charter and Standard Chartered's global experience. She will also discuss how financial institutions can strengthen leadership capability, develop future-ready talent, and build sustainable competitiveness in the AI era.

This conference will provide a valuable opportunity to explore new sources of competitiveness and leadership for Korea's financial industry in the age of AI.
